Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has had an increasingly high profile over the last 10 years since the passing of the Autism Act 2009 (England and Wales). It is relatively common in the population and even more so in psychiatric clinics. It may present differently in some groups.
This module aims to give you further understanding of how to diagnose someone with ASD, the criteria and what they mean in practice.
