Consultant Psychiatrist, Yorkshire Centre for Eating Disorders (YCED), Leeds.


Dr William Rhys Jones is the clinical lead for the YCED Outreach Service, which provides community-based treatment for individuals with severe and enduring eating disorders (SEED). He chairs the MARSIPAN (Management of Really Sick Patients with Eating Disorders) Expert Working Group in Leeds and is also an elected member of the RCPsych Faculty of Eating Disorders Executive Committee.

Paul Robinson, MA, MD, FRCP, FRCPsych

Research Consultant Psychiatrist, St Ann’s Hospital Eating Disorders Service, North London; Senior Teaching Fellow, Division of Medicine, University College London (UCL).


Dr Paul Robinson has written books on SEED, community treatment of eating disorders and critical care for anorexia nervosa. He was the convenor and chair of the MARSIPAN guideline development group. He is the chief organiser of the MSc in eating disorders and clinical nutrition at UCL.
