The Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) provides a route for doctors who have not completed a UK training programme to obtain specialist registration.
Many consider the CESR a career route advisable for specialty doctors or doctors who have qualified overseas, where they can have their experience and knowledge formally recognised, enabling them to apply for substantive consultant posts in the NHS.
This module is designed to enable the applicant to successfully complete the onerous task of submitting a CESR application.
