Dr Cockayne has worked in substance misuse since 1994, initially as a GP, then as a psychiatrist. Her interests include alternatives to methadone and treatment pathways for substance misusers with Hepatitis C.

Liz Hutchings became Fife’s first Specialist Pharmacist in Substance Misuse in 2007 after 26 years as a Community Pharmacist with an interest in substance misuse issues. She is secretary of Scotland’s 16-strong Specialist Pharmacists in Substance Misuse group.
